I’m a Cloud Native specialist and open source advocate with a background in Physics and Computer Science. My work sits at the intersection of technology and human impact, connecting people, nice tools, and communities to drive real outcomes. With a strong background in open source technologies, open communities, and modern cloud infrastructure. My expertise spans Kubernetes, Containers, DevOps, observability, SaaS/PaaS platforms, and application modernization. You’ll often find me at KubeCon, Open Source Summit, and CNCF meetups. Originally from Brazil and now based in Europe, I bring a global mindset and a passion for fostering collaboration and building strong technical communities.

Julia is passionate about helping teams build reliable, observable, and scalable systems. At Dash0, she focuses on bridging the gap between technology and people, enabling organizations to understand their systems better and make data-driven decisions with confidence. Beyond her work, Julia is a CNCF Ambassador, AWS Container Hero, Docker Captain, Google Women Techmakers Ambassador, and Girl Code Ambassador. She’s an active community leader who helps organize Kubernetes Community Days New York, AWS Community Day New York, and the CNCF Midtown Meetup NYC, creating spaces where technologists can connect, learn, and grow together.

Juliano is a passionate Software Engineer/Developer Advocate with extensive experience in cloud-related technologies. He is specialized in OpenTelemetry and is always working with Kubernetes, Helm, Containers, Jenkins, and other related tools. As one of the maintainers of the CNCF project OpenTelemetry Demo, Juliano has helped to create a distributed system that demonstrates the implementation of OpenTelemetry in a near real-world environment. With a strong belief in the power of community, Juliano co-founded the Cloud Native Linz meetup. He actively participates in the tech community and is always willing to share his knowledge and insights with others. When not working, Juliano likes to spend his time with the family traveling around Austria and sightseeing new places.

Why I am excited to be an ambassador: I strongly believe in the power of the community and how it can help everyone grow, not just professionally, but as a whole. I’m extremely excited about being able to help growing the CNCF community and raising it awareness wherever I go. I love learning and sharing what I learn. The atmosphere and environment of openness created by CNCF is something that I take with me in every interaction I have. I’m super excited and thankful in becoming a CNCF Ambassador.

Rafael “Rafa” Brito has over 30 years of industry experience in distributed computing, Kubernetes, Cloud, grid/HPC, and high-frequency trading infrastructure (HFT). Rafa is a principal engineer at StormForge by CloudBolt, dedicated to delivering Kubernetes optimization and scalability to customers. Before joining StormForge, Rafa worked at VMware, Citigroup, and NYSE. Rafa co-organizes the KCD Texas and CNCF Austin Community Group, and he serves as co-chair of CNCF TAG Operational Resilience (as of 2025-2026). Rafa is the co-author of the best-selling book “Acing the CKA Exam” 2nd Edition. When not working with Kubernetes, you’ll find Rafa training for marathons at the Lady Bird Trail in Austin, TX, and fanatically rooting for his Brazilian soccer team, Flamengo.

Thiago is a Principal Platform Engineer at Itau Unibanco, focused on observability, performance, and resilience in large-scale distributed systems. He collaborated on the CNCF Certified Cloud Native Platform Engineering Associate (CNPA) certification and supports Cloud Native events in Florianopolis, Sao Paulo, and online. Acting as a connector among multiple Community Groups across Brazil, he strengthens collaboration and knowledge sharing around Kubernetes, Chaos Engineering, and Open Observability.

Tiago is a Principal Containers Specialist SA at AWS, where he helps startups optimize their container and cloud-native strategies. With experience in DevOps, GenAI, and SaaS architectures, he collaborates with businesses to design scalable and efficient cloud solutions. Tiago also actively contributes to the tech community as an organizer of KCD Brazil and meetups focused on promoting cloud-native technologies.
