Official Conference Name
The full, official name of the event is KubeCon + CloudNativeCon [Location Year]. Please use the complete name on all signage, collateral, and marketing materials. You may shorten it to KubeCon + CloudNativeCon, but it is not permitted to refer to the event as KubeCon alone.
Logos and Brand Assets
The official conference logos and other CNCF brand assets are available for use in accordance with our guidelines:
Sponsors of our KubeCon + CloudNativeCon events may use these assets to:
- Promote KubeCon + CloudNativeCon
- Highlight their participation in the event
- Invite others to attend
However, conference logos and branding may not be used for sponsor-hosted events or activities not officially part of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon.
General Usage Guidelines
- Do not modify any CNCF or conference logos.
- Do not separate the KubeCon and CloudNativeCon logos from each other.
- Use of any Linux Foundation or CNCF trademark or logo is subject to the trademark policy available at https://www.linuxfoundation.org/trademark-usage.
- Use of the Kubernetes logo must follow Kubernetes Logo Guidelines.
- The Certified Kubernetes marks may be used only by companies who are certified through CNCF’s Certified Kubernetes Software Conformance program. All usage cases must comply with the brand guidelines.

Booth Graphics
CNCF and Linux Foundation brand usage policies also apply to booth graphics. It is permitted to use CNCF project logos in booth graphics as long as they are compliant with the usage policy. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The project logo should not be larger than the sponsor’s own branding/own logo.
- The use of the project logo should not imply endorsement by the project.
- A project logo should not be used to claim that the sponsor is the best/preferred/market-leading product/service provider for this project. Factual statements only.
- The official artwork must be used without modification. For example, it is not permitted to alter the colors of project logos.
Please review the entire policy to ensure you are in compliance. All booth graphics are subject to review and approval by CNCF.
Branded Swag and Giveaways
Conference, CNCF, or Linux Foundation logos may not be used on any sponsor-produced swag or giveaways. Examples include t-shirts, hats or other apparel, stickers, digital assets, and any other branded items whether offered for sale or as free giveaways. CNCF reserves the right to restrict the distribution of any unauthorized items before, during, and after the event.
Sponsors may not distribute branded lanyards as giveaways to attendees, however, sponsor booth staff may wear their own company-branded lanyards at the event.
Onsite Sponsor Branding
Sponsor branding and collateral must stay within the sponsor’s booth. This includes:
- No flyers, business cards, or other materials placed outside the booth
- No signage, clings, banners, or advertising in common areas, hotels, offsite venues, or public spaces near the event
- No solicitation outside the booth space
CNCF reserves the right to restrict or remove any unauthorized promotional materials at the sponsor’s expense.
