With 4100 registrations, the KubeCon 2018 is the largest so far. At a subsequent press conference on site, the invited industry representatives agreed on one thing in particular: Kubernetes has accelerated the development cycle of its products enormously. Open source and the open-source model, also in the podium agreed, is indispensable in the cloud-native development. Those who seriously want to play have to adapt to the open development model.
