The latest version of Kubernetes, the popular open source container orchestration platform, is available with beta support for Microsoft Windows, storage enhancements and Workloads API. On 15th December, the Kubernetes community has announced the availability of version 1.9, the final release of 2017. It follows the regular cadence of a quarterly release where new beta features are added and existing features are stabilized.
