Peer mentoring and group discussions on cloud strategy management

Cloud native management has matured quickly. Platform engineering is now a cross-organization product, supply chain security expectations continue to rise, and regulation has moved from a future concern to a present-day roadmap constraint. As a result, many organizations are recognizing that they can’t sustainably adopt Kubernetes and other CNCF projects by “consuming” them alone. Long-term success increasingly depends on having an intentional approach to upstream contribution, governance, compliance, and community health

OSPOlogy Day Cloud Native is an in-person OSPOlogy Day edition hosted by CNCF in collaboration with the TODO Europe Chapter, designed to help open source managers navigate strategy and operations specifically in cloud native ecosystems. It creates space for the conversations with structure, mentors, and peers who live these every day problems for open source leaders involved in open source management, engaging with these areas of organizations to streamline their cloud strategy and operations

The format is composed of lightning intros with small-group roundtables where participants tackle challenges, share patterns, and demo tooling, all under the Chatham House Rule to encourage candid discussion.

Topics to dig into

The early submissions and suggested discussion themes reflect the kinds of questions OSPOs and open source management teams are navigating right now in cloud native environments:

OSPOlogy Day Cloud Native will take place on March 23, 2026, from 13:00 to 16:00 CET at RAI Amsterdam.

Participation is limited to 30 attendees to keep discussions interactive, and access to the meeting space requires an all-access pass for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe. If this intersects with the work you do (whether you’re building internal cloud platforms, setting a contribution strategy, or operationalizing governance and compliance), you’re welcome to join the conversation.
