Guest post from the Fluentd team

We are happy to announce a new getting started video for Fluentd by Nana Janashia that gives a great overview on logging challenges, use cases, and how Fluentd works. Watch the video now!

Observability and Logging continue to grow as major requirements for organizations with almost 95% of Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) survey respondents using logging tools. One of the ways users are tackling these logging requirements and challenges are with the graduated CNCF project, Fluentd. Fluentd, created almost 10 years ago, was built to be an extensible, lightweight, pluggable, and vendor-neutral approach to collecting and sending log data.

While Fluentd is a staple in some of the largest cloud providers and deployments within Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and more – Fluentd is also a fantastic tool for you to start using within your own datacenter and public / private clouds. With this new video users you will get a great introduction to logging and use cases to get started such as:

You will also get a light intro to some of Fluentd’s enterprise features and functionality, such as error handling, reliability buffering, and advanced log routing.

I want to learn even more about Fluentd!
