Known in the Nordic region for medical and travel assistance, SOS International experienced intense development in the digital space; therefore, they needed to migrate from an old system to a new one with more agility to enable them to be more efficient in a shorter amount of time. They chose Kubernetes as it allowed SOS International to improve their time to market and the ability to adapt to changes and new technologies.
With Kubernetes, the time between when the software is ready for release and when it can be released has dramatically improved. Kubernetes allows SOS to easily access scripts to help them automate and easily creating CI/CD pipelines, which has spawned a lot of internal interest in full automation.
