Gearing up for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Seattle? Don’t miss Observability Practitioners Summit – our new co-located event on Monday, December 10, focused on pushing the field of monitoring and observability forwards by providing a mix of high quality talks and opportunities for discussion between the maintainers and practitioners of tracing, metrics, logging, and alerting systems.

Speakers will dive into new and novel approaches to observing distributed systems; deep dives into fundamental problems and limitations with existing approaches; algorithms and techniques for observability at scale; and more.

Interested in presenting on these and/or similar observability trends/practices? Please submit a talk – the CFP deadline is September 21, 2018!

As attendance diversity is important to the program committee – made up of Chris Aniszczyk, of Cloud Native Computing Foundation; Peter Bourgon, of Fastly; Priyanka Sharma, of GitLab; and Ted Young, of LightStep – Diversity Scholarships will be made available to reimburse travel expenses. Recipients will also receive complimentary conference registration and meals will be provided. Please visit this link to learn more + submit an application!
