Tiejun Chen is a staff engineer II and one technical leader from ATC, Advanced Technology Center, VMware OCTO. In recent years he is working on some projects or explorations involved Linux, Unikernel, libOS, IoT, Edge Computing, secure container, k8s, serverless, etc. Before joined VMware, he ever worked at Wind River System where he was responsible of developing Wind River Linux BSP, Kernel features and Wind River's own hypervisor and paraviratualized guest OS, and contributed into mainstream like Linux/PowerPC/MIPS/RT Linux. And he also joined Intel OTC - Opensource Technology Center, where he was working on enabling new hardware features on open source technologies like KVM/XEN/Qemu.
He ever made many presentations at LC3 China 2017 & 2018, OSS North America 2017 & 2018, OSS & ELC Europe and RT-Summit Europe 2017 & 2018 & 2019, and ELC & OpenIoT 2018, FOSSASIA Opentech Singapore 2018, OSS & AGL Japan 2018 & 2019, OSLS 2019, OSS China 2019 and even hosted some open workshops and meetups like ACM'ICS 2018 Unikernel workshop, IoT meetup sponsored by Linux Foundation and VMware, and joined AGL activity of writing some white papers, and one member of China RISC-V Alliance.
